Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Planning and Management:
- Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor and maintain servers, storage, and networking systems.
Network and Cloud Operations:
- Oversee LAN/WAN configurations and cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize bandwidth and ensure high network availability.
Disaster Recovery and Backups:
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
- Manage data backup solutions for critical systems.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Implement security measures for infrastructure components.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and industry standards.
Team Leadership and Vendor Management:
- Manage infrastructure teams and allocate resources effectively.
- Work with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
Daily Tasks:
- Monitor infrastructure performance metrics and resolve issues.
- Apply security patches and firmware updates for infrastructure components.
- Review and approve infrastructure changes or upgrades.
- Conduct team meetings to prioritize infrastructure projects.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses.
Skills:
1. Computer Skills:
- Infrastructure tools: VMware, Hyper-V, Cisco Networking, AWS, or Azure.
- Storage solutions: SAN, NAS, or cloud storage.
- Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
2. Language Skills:
- Proficient in English for team collaboration and vendor negotiations.
- Clear technical writing skills for documentation.
3. Job Technical (Functional) Skills:
- IT infrastructure planning and maintenance.

Job Specifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years in IT infrastructure roles, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar.
Performance Metrics:
- Infrastructure uptime and availability.
- Mean time to resolve (MTTR) infrastructure issues.
- Cost efficiency in managing IT infrastructure.
